DJ Rewild

Curator of vibes and community Builder, DJ Rewild is a movement in the making. As the first female instructor at the Denver DJ School, she’s breaking beats and barriers—paving the way for a new generation of inclusive soundmakers. Rooted in her Arizona upbringing and now thriving in Denver’s vibrant music and community scene, Rewild brings soulful energy and intention to every set she touches.
Her DJ journey began in 2008 in Arizona, spinning at clubs, weddings, fashion shows, and community events. An open-format DJ, her signature sound flows through Afro-Latin house, afrobeats, amapiano, R&B, and hip-hop—always guided by rhythm, emotion, and purpose.
A proud queer Latinx creative, Rewild has made it her mission to cultivate spaces where everyone—especially LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folx—can feel safe, seen, and celebrated. As co-founder of The Free Collective, a culture-rooted organization dedicated to community and creative expression, she blends deep grooves with meaningful impact. Rewild isn’t just teaching music—she’s mentoring artists to find their voice, reclaim their power, and build community through sound.
Her DJ name, Rewild, speaks to a personal rebirth—a return to one’s most natural, authentic self. It’s about shedding societal expectations, reconnecting with your roots, and reclaiming joy through rhythm and movement. Through her music, Rewild restores, revives, and realigns—inviting others to remember who they were before the noise.
After completing Denver DJ School’s program in 2025 to deepen her craft, she returned as an instructor—ready to uplift and guide the next wave of DJs. Whether dropping beats at an underground party or coaching students behind the decks, DJ Rewild leads with love, vision, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of music.
