Denver DJ School was founded in 2018 by longtime Colorado DJs Staxx and DJ Chonz, who bring more than 25 years of experience in radio, nightlife, concerts, battles and special events. From our studio at 1339 W. 38th Ave, we've taught over 10,000 classes, including private lessons, group classes, scratch, music production and podcasting, all on the same professional gear you'll find in clubs and at events. We're a Serato DJ Certified School, and every instructor is a working DJ.
Where Our Students Go
Some of the DJs who took their first class here have gone on to build their own DJ businesses, play the Denver nightlife scene and perform at Red Rocks. That's their hard work. We're proud we got to be part of the start. Our alumni don't just get a certificate and a handshake, either. Graduates of the Full DJ Program get access to paid DJ opportunities through Denver DJ School.

Giving Back to the Community
Music is built on community, so we create spaces for it. We throw Who's Got The Juice, our DJ battle that puts local talent on stage, and we've hosted a free block party for the neighborhood. We also bring DJ and music production programs into Denver Public Schools during and after school, so more young people get a creative outlet and real skills.

You don't have to want a DJ career to have a great time here. Our Sip N Spin sessions make a fun night out with friends, and our Team Builder workshops get coworkers mixing together.
