Every great DJ competition needs someone who can control the room when the competitors aren't behind the decks. At Who's Got the Juice Vol. 3, that person was Yasmeen (@yasmeen.wav).
From the moment the doors opened to the final song of the night, Yasmeen set the tone. She wasn't just filling the time between competitors—she was creating a vibe that kept the crowd engaged, excited, and ready for every performance.
One of the best compliments of the night came from people asking, "Who is that DJ?"
Guests who had never heard Yasmeen before were blown away by her music selection, and our judges kept commenting on how well she maintained the flow of the competition. Whether she was opening the event, transitioning between DJ sets, or closing out the evening, she knew exactly what the room needed.
That's the mark of a great DJ.
Being the house DJ isn't always the easiest job. You're responsible for keeping the momentum going while giving every competitor their moment to shine. Yasmeen made it look effortless.
Yasmeen is also a proud Denver DJ School alumni, and while the music selection and style you heard are entirely her own, seeing one of our former students perform at such a high level makes us incredibly proud. Watching our alumni continue to grow, develop their own identity, and earn the respect of other DJs is exactly what it's all about.
